Christmas Is Canceled in Trailer for THE BAD GUYS: A VERY BAD HOLIDAY

DreamWorks Animation’s hit animated film The Bad Guys is getting a follow-up holiday short film titled The Bad Guys: A Very Bad Holiday, and Netflix has released the first trailer for it.

The movie actually acts as a prequel to the original movie and it sees Wolf, Shark, Piranha, Snake, and Tarantula embark on an adventure to try and hype up Christmas after the holiday is canceled so they can execute a heist they’ve been planning. The synopsis reads:

In this new adventure set before the events of the feature, there's nothing the Bad Guys love more than Christmas morning — because while everyone is home opening presents, it's the perfect time to execute their city-wide holiday heist. But when Christmas is unexpectedly canceled, the Bad Guys must do the unthinkable: reignite the city's holiday spirit by giving instead of taking. Based on the DreamWorks Animation feature film The Bad Guys.

The movie was directed by Bret Haaland, but while the characters are the same as those featured in the feature film, they're being voiced by a different cast. The original film was a lot of fun, and while this special doesn’t look as good, Christmas movies always tend to do well.

The Bad Guys: A Very Bad Holiday will be released on Netflix on November 30th.
