Christmas Turns Into a Sinister Nightmare in Trailer For TOYS OF TERROR

Christmas and the holiday season is supposed to be the happiest time of the year, but that’s definitely not the case in this upcoming horror film, Toys of Terror. A trailer was just released for the movie and it teases a story that involves demon-possessed toys that are manipulating a family to turn on each other.

I enjoy holiday horror movies and I actually really like what I’m seeing from Toys of Terror! It definitely tells a dark story, and it looks like it’ll be filled with some great and creepy scares! This film was not on my radar before this trailer dropped, but now I’m excited to see the movie!

Here’s the synopsis:

It’s not all fun and games when the Cashman family arrives at the old orphanage where they’ll be spending their Christmas getaway. But the discovery of a stash of old toys in an abandoned playroom seems to turn things around, as kids Franklin, Zoe, and Alicia take to them instantly. But as the kids begin to act stranger and stranger and refuse to part with their new playthings, their nanny Rose begins to suspect that the toys themselves might be alive, and manipulating the whole family. As the body count rises, and the family refuses to heed her warnings, it’s up to Rose to save everyone, before history starts repeating itself and traps them there forever.

Toys of Terror was written and executive produced by Dana Gould (Stan Against Evil) and directed by Nicholas Verso (Nowhere Boy). It stars Kyana Teresa (Star Trek: Discovery), Georgia Waters (Siren), Verity Marks (The Christmas Club), Dayo Ade (October Faction), Saul Elias, and Zoe Dish

Toys of Terror will be available to watch on digital from October 27th, with the Blu Ray and DVD going on sale on January 19th, 2021.
