Christoph Waltz Has Been Hired to Star Opposite Liam Hemsworth in Action Thriller for Quibi
The lovely Christoph Waltz (Inglorious Basterds, Django Unchained) has been hired on to co-star in an upcoming untitled action thriller for Quibi (the “quick bite” streaming service aimed toward young people on their phones) alongside Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger Games). Here’s a synopsis from Deadline:
In the series, desperate to take care of his pregnant wife before a terminal illness can take his life, Dodge Maynard (Hemsworth) accepts an offer to participate in a deadly game where he soon discovers that he’s not the hunter… but the prey. The action-thriller explores the limits of how far someone would go to fight for their life and their family. Let the games begin.
Waltz has been cast as the character Miles Sellers, whom we don’t have a description for, but we can probably fairly assume that he will be the hunter in the scenario, because that sounds right. I’m not sure about the format, but I do love anything Waltz is in, so I’m willing to check it out. How about you?
