Christoph Waltz Set To Star in The New Dark Comedy Series THE CONSULTANT For Amazon

Christoph Waltz is set to star in a new dark comedy series in development at Amazon Studios titled The Consultant.

The series is based on Bentley Little’s 2015 novel of the same name and the story follows “a sinister relationship between boss and employee and looking at how far workers will go to get ahead and survive.”

Tony Basgallop is the show's creator and showrunner, and he’s also co-executive producing with Waltz, and Matt Shakman (Heroes Reborn) is directing. Basgallop shared in a statement:

“It’s a huge honor to be working with the talents of Matt Shakman and Christoph Waltz on this project that I developed with the team at 1.21 and Toluca Pictures. And with MGM and Amazon Studios we’ve found partners who are not afraid to be bold and explosive.”

Christoph Waltz is a great actor and he always tends to take on fun and interesting characters and he always bring something unique to those characters that he plays. This project is going to be a great one for him and I’m looking forward to seeing what he ends up bringing to it.
