Christopher James Baker and Yvette Monreal Join the Cast of STARGIRL

Stargirl is one of the many upcoming projects we know about for DC Universe. We know Brec Bassinger will star as the titular character and we know that Anjelika Washington will be in a mysterious role. Now, we have two more joining the cast in undisclosed recurring roles: Christopher James Baker and Yvette Monreal. My guess is that Monreal will be one of the young heroes that Courtney Whitmore (Bassinger) will rally, but I’m not sure who Baker will be.

“Stargirl follows high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore as she inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past. This new drama reimagines Stargirl and the very first superhero team, the Justice Society of America, in an unpredictable series. The project focuses on the character that started executive producer Geoff Johns’ career as a comic book writer when he created her in 1999, lovingly inspired by his late sister, who was killed in a 1996 plane explosion.”

Stargirl was originally created by Geoff Johns who will serve as an executive producer as well as writer for the first episode. Other executive producers will include Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter. Who do you think Monreal and Baker will be?
