Christopher Lloyd and Connie Nielsen Join Bob Odenkirk in Action-Thriller NOBODY at Universal

Christopher Lloyd, known for his roles in Taxi and the Back to the Future franchise, and Connie Nielsen, from Gladiator and Wonder Woman, have joined the cast of the upcoming action-thriller Nobody. Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul) is already cast in the film that is being written by Derek Kolstad, the writer of the John Wick films, with director Ilya Naishuller (Hardcore Henry).

Here’s a rundown for the story:

The film follows a quiet suburban dad named Hutch – a typical nobody – who’s long-simmering rage suddenly erupts when two thieves break into his home. Propelled by this anger, Hutch journeys down a brutal and bloody path that will ultimately force him to confront secrets he fought to leave behind.

These films like Falling Down — or American Beauty — wherein the protagonist goes through an event or series of events in their life that just pushes them over the edge, usually tell a great story. With this cast, I have a lot of confidence that we could really see a great film. Does this sound like the type of film you’d enjoy?
