Christopher Lloyd Reprises His ROSEANNE Role, Lou, in the Spinoff THE CONNERS

Christopher Lloyd will reprise his role of Lou from Roseanne in the AMC spinoff series The Conners. Thanks to Deadline, we also have a first look photo to share with you. That photo features Lloyd with series star John Goodman. It’s always great to see Lloyd pop up in something! In my opinion, he doesn’t work enough!

Lloyd will appear in an episode titled “The Best Laid Plans, A Contrabassoon and A Sinking Feeling,” the story of which will see Darlene (Sara Gilbert) “as she struggles to cope with the stress of construction; and after a serious accident, she re-evaluates everything and makes a life-changing decision.”

As for Lou’s involvement, he returns “as Mark’s (Ames McNamara) combative contrabassoon teacher; but after he butts heads with Mark, Dan (Goodman) steps in, only to realize that their similarities may outweigh their differences.”

Lloyd made his first appearance in the series in the revived 10th season of Roseanne and he played Beverly’s (Estelle Parsons) new boyfriend.

This episode is set to drop on May 4th. Do any of you watch The Connors? If so, are you excited to see Lloyd come back?
