Christopher Nolan May Not Be Done with Superhero Movies Yet
Christopher Nolan won the hearts of fanboys and fangirls everywhere when he directed the Dark Knight trilogy. He also was a producer on Zack Snyder's Man of Steel. When he was finished with those projects though, we weren't sure if he would ever return to the comic book superhero genre again. Especially since he has no involvement with the upcoming slate of DC universe movies that Warner Bros. announced.
During an interview with Time Out, Nolan talked about his experience working in the world of superheroes, and even though it might be hard for him to come back to it, he's not taking it out of the equation.
"I think I had a great experience with the superhero genre and got to explore a lot of things, but it was a good decade of my life and I find it hard to imagine returning to it. But never say never."
I would love to see Nolan come back and direct another comic book film, but even if he doesn't he's still going to bring epically awesome stories to the big screen. There's several films lined up in the DC universe that he could have his pick of if he wanted. But, wouldn't it be crazy if Marvel was able to harness the power of his talent? I don't think it will ever happen, but like Nolan said… "never say never."
What other superhero besides Batman would you like to see Nolan bring to life?
