Christopher Nolan Prefers Blu-Ray Over Netflix

If you're someone desperately grasping at straws as to why Netflix is an inferior platform to traditional Blu-Ray in modern society, you have a friend in Christopher Nolan. Deadline reports the director talked about his preference for the medium after a recent midday screening of Dunkirk at the Film Society Of Lincoln Center.

Ultimately, it's not like he said it was superior or anything, but rather that he just finds himself watching Blu-Rays more than he finds himself searching for a film on Netflix. Not to take on one of the greatest filmmakers of this era, but I'm sure the situation is different when you're making so much money the cost of a Blu-Ray and Netflix subscription are trivial at best! If I had the money to buy any movie I wanted the minute I decided to watch it, you bet your ass I would be team Blu-Ray!

Just saying. Still excited to see Dunkirk Mr. Nolan!
