Christopher Nolan's THE DARK KNIGHT is Getting an IMAX 70mm Rerelease For Its 10-Year Anniversary

For its 10-year anniversary, Warner Bros. is going to rerelease Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight in select theaters for a week and it will be screened in IMAX 70mm film!

It's kind of crazy to think that it's been ten years since this movie was released. It's such a great film and it was innovative in so many ways. It changed the way that audiences would see comic book movies and it was also a pioneer in using IMAX filmmaking technology.

The Dark Knight was such an incredible movie-going experience and it's so cool that fans will get a chance to watch it on the big screen again! Unfortunately, it's only being released four theaters across the country.

The one-week engagement will start on August 24th, and these are the theaters where it will be playing:

  • AMC Universal Citywalk IMAX, Universal City
  • AMC Lincoln Square IMAX, New York City
  • AMC Metreon IMAX, San Francisco
  • Ontario Place Cinesphere IMAX, Toronto

Lucky for me, I'll be able to go see it at the AMC Universal Citywalk IMAX, which is where I saw the film for the first time! Will you get a chance to see The Dark Knight on the big screen again?
