Chucky's CHILD'S PLAY TV Series Has Officially Been Announced!
The horror franchise Child's Play has had a long and successful film franchise since it first launched in 1988. Well, now the murderous villain Chucky is getting his own TV series! The news was confirmed by creator and producer Don Mancini. He made the big announcement on Twitter:

The TV series was previously teased by Mancini and at the time he said that the series that will be based on the evil possessed doll will be dark and disturbing, "darker than ever before. It’s going to be very creepy."
Mancini went on to say that the series was "deliberately set up at end of" the last movie, Cult of Chucky. Franchise producer, David Kirschner, also added:
"I don’t think there’s a relationship that lasted this long. I’m incredibly excited about the series and to explore a world in which we’ve never done before. Don has taken the franchise in a wonderfully frightening direction. He seems to outdo himself every time."
Brad Dourif and Jennifer Tilly, who have provided the voices of Chucky and his bride Tiffany are expected to reprise their roles, but that hasn't been confirmed yet.
We don't have any other details on the series, but I'm looking forward to seeing how Mancini proceeds and what he ultimately delivers. I hope it turns out good!
