On June 22, 2015, the world lost one of its greatest film music heroes when James Horner’s S-312 Tucano MK1 turboprop crashed 100 miles northwest of Los Angeles. He was 61 years old. James Horner was a two time Academy Award winner, a six time Grammy Award winner and an IFMCA Award winner.
