A new trailer has dropped for the Amazon limited series A Very British Scandal, starring Emmy-winner Claire Foy (The Crown), and Emmy-nominee Paul Bettany (WandaVision). The story is based on the true story of England’s infamous 1963 Argyll v Argyll case, the scandalous divorce of Margaret Campbell and Ian Campbell, 11th Duke of Argyll, and the media frenzy surrounding it.

When the divorce went down, Ian Campbell and his attorneys brought out tons of evidence proving the affairs had by his wife, while she spoke out about his physical and verbal abuse that she suffered. It was a total mess, and it looks like Foy and Bettany do a great job of telling the story.

The hour-long, three-episode series will premiere on Amazon on April 22, 2022. Check out the trailer below, and let us know what you think.
