Classic Characters on Display in Poster for BATMAN NINJA

When I first heard about Batman Ninja my first thought was, what the heck?! Then I watched the trailer and I was like, WHAT THE HECK?! It looks awesome. Batman being sent back in time to medieval Japan is a really weird idea, but it looks like a good old-fashioned anime set in medieval Japan. The characters look awesome from what we’ve seen and the team behind it is impressive. We still don’t know how Batman gets to Japan or why, but we have a pretty good idea of who will be joining in on the adventure.

In the official poster for the film, we get a good look at the heroes and villains that will be telling the story. On the villain’s side, we have Penguin, Gorilla Grodd (interesting choice in my opinion), Two-Face, Poison Ivy, Deathstroke, Harley Quinn, and of course, the Joker. In the other corner, you have Catwoman, Robin, Red Robin, Nightwing, Red Hood, Batman, and most importantly, Alfred. This is a big cast of characters so here’s hoping they can balance everything well. Fortunately, I think the film will focus on Batman with everyone playing secondary roles which should help balance it. That being said, they all look pretty awesome in their outfits for medieval Japan. My question is, where’d they get them?

Hopefully, we’ll get better images of the villains soon so as to revel in their awesomeness as well. What’s your theory as to how and why this story happens?
