Clip From The Psychological Horror Thriller KNOCKING
A clip has been released for the upcoming Swedish psychological horror film Knocking. The story centers on a woman who ends up being terrorized by a constant knocking sound coming from the walls of her new apartment. It’s a simple premise, but there is something sinister going on.
The tagline for the film reads, "Everyone needs to be heard” and it’s described as "a timely psychological horror thriller built on very real human fears and anxieties.” Here’s the synopsis for the movie:
After suffering a traumatic incident, Molly (Cecilia Milocco) moves into her new apartment to begin her path to recovery, but it’s not long after her arrival that a series of persistent knocks and screams begin to wake her up at night. Molly’s new life begins to unravel as the screams intensify and no one else in the building believes or is willing to help her.
In the clip, we see Molly talking with a cop after she calls regarding an incident she witnessed involving a couple struggling outside the apartment building.
The movie was directed by Frida Kempff and the rest of the cast includes Albin Grenholm, Ville Virtanen, Krister Kern, Alexander Salzberger, and Charlotta Åkerblom. Knocking will be released in select US theaters on October 8th, then on VOD on October 19th, 2021.
