Colin Farrell Up for a Role in Tim Burton's Live-Action DUMBO Film

Out of all the animated Disney movies, I was kinda surprised at first to hear they're making a live-action Dumbo. The original cartoon was about a fun-loving elephant who gets teased for having overly large, abnormal ears but over time learns to use them to fly.

As of right now, Colin Farrell is in negotiation with Disney for the role of Holt, the widowed father of two kids from Kentucky. If cast, Farrell would be joining Eva Green and Danny Devito in the project.

The live-action Dumbo movie will be the latest in the line of live action movies Disney is pumping out. Beauty and The Beast is their most recent film and it's crossed $500 Million at the box office globally, which isn’t a big surprise.

Along with the live-action remake of Dumbo, Emma Stone is set to star as Cruella De Vil in the upcoming 101 Dalmatians prequel Cruella. Stone has proven herself to be a wonderful actor, and we definitely saw that in her recent performance in the beautiful movie La La Land. But I can’t seem to picture her has the infamous villain Cruella De Vil.

We never know where Disney will be taking these live action remakes, though. Will they keep it close to the original version of Cinderella and Beauty and The Beast or will they do a complete 180? They'll definitely be keeping us on our toes with every live-action remake Disney throws at us.
