Colin Hanks Confirms Return to JUMANJI Sequel
In a recent interview with THR, Colin Hanks confirmed that he will be returning to the untitled Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle sequel. His exact words were, “I'm not allowed to discuss or confirm or deny anything involving the Jumanji sequel. With the exception of, I am in it."
At least he was able to say that! The plot for the sequel has been completely under wraps, so all we have been able to know is cast news. Hanks will be joining the other returning cast that includes Karen Gillan, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Madison Iseman, Morgan Turner, Alex Wolff, Ser’Darius Blain, and Nick Jonas, as well as newcomers Danny DeVito, Danny Glover, and Awkwafina.
We also know that filming began earlier this year in Hawaii, and when asked if Hanks joined them at the shoot, he responded, "I got to shoot all my stuff in Atlanta. Since I was one of the characters that existed outside of the game, I don't get the plush, tropical locale."
Too bad for Hanks! But I’m glad he will be back for the sequel. My kids loved the first movie, and my husband and I were blown away by how funny and good it was. We are all really excited for the next movie to come out.
Are you excited for the next Jumanji movie? It is scheduled to hit theaters on December 13, 2019.
