Colin Trevorrow's THE BOOK OF HENRY Adds Sarah Silverman, Lee Pace, and Dean Norris

Before he heads off to a galaxy far, far away to direct Star Wars: Episode IX, writer/director Colin Trevorrow will direct a movie called The Book of Henry. It's being described as a "dark family dramedy centering on a mother and her genius son," which sounds a little outside the scope of what the director has handled in the past. But that's exactly why I'm interested in watching it — it'll give us a better idea of Trevorrow's range as a filmmaker.

Naomi Watts, Jacob Tremblay (who's having a breakout moment with his performance as Brie Larson's young son in Room), and Jaeden Lieberher were already attached, and now THR reports that Sarah Silverman, Lee Pace, and Dean Norris have joined the cast in undisclosed roles. The great thing about all three of these actors is that they've proven adept at both comedy and drama, so it's impossible to know what kind of characters they'll play here. Like Trevorrow, I'll be interested to see how they can continue to expand their ranges here. Hopefully this collaboration between this great cast and filmmaker can produce something memorable.
