Colorful and Playful New Poster For DC's BIRDS OF PREY Movie
Warner Bros. just released a new playful and colorful poster for Cathy Yan’s DC film Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn).
The poster prominently features Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn with “Mind Over Mayhem” written in pink across her neck. There are also several other characters featured flying in front of Harley’s face. The rest of the cast includes Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary; Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress; Rosie Perez as Detective Renee Montoya; Ella Jay Basco as Batgirl Cassandra Cain; Ewan McGregor as the villainous Black Mask; and Chris Messina as the serial killer, Victor Zsasz.
The marketing team is going to have some fun with this film. Remember, regardless of how you felt about the Suicide Squad movie, the marketing leading up to the film was really freakin’ fun! Hopefully, Birds of Prey ends up having a better outcome in the end with the fans.
The movie is said to be an R-rated "girl-gang movie," and this is the synopsis that was shared:
Four years after the events of Suicide Squad, Batman has disappeared, leaving Gotham City unprotected from crime, and Harley Quinn has left the Joker. When Cassandra Cain, a young girl, comes across a diamond belonging to crime lord Black Mask, Harley joins forces with Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya to help protect her.
I hope this movie actually turns out to be a good and entertaining DC movie! Watch the teaser for yourself below and tell us what you think!
Birds of Prey is set to be released on February 7th, 2020.
