Comcast Says It's Ready To Outbid Disney For Fox

Rumors have swirled that Comcast could outbid Disney for the Fox network for awhile now, and now the company has come forward to confirm the rumors. Variety reports no details of the deal have been revealed, other than the Comcast deal is at least as favorable if not better than Disney's $52.4 billion offer as well as an "all-cash offer".

I'm not sure if one is necessarily better than the other, although Disney losing out on the Fox acquisition means they won't have control over the X-Men or Fantastic Four franchises. They also won't be able to pressure films franchises involving Deadpool to tone down their content for PG-13 ratings.

Do you think a Comcast buy-out of Fox is more favorable than Disney in the long run?
