Come Back to DNF DUEL With A Season Pass and New Combat System

Last year, DNF Duel hit the fighting video game arena and received mostly positive reception, but never received a lot of attention from the public. Its slick style, many characters, and fast paced fighting culminated in a pretty great game even with the low player counts. But now, there is a strong reason to return to the game or get it in the first place. Between new characters and an added character fighting style customization option, DNF Duel is in a great place to be picked up and enjoyed by new players and veterans.

Players can buy the new Season Pass of DNF Duel, which will include several new fighters over the coming months, one of them being Spectre. She is a lightning fast swordsman that can really lay down some serious pain on unsuspecting players. Her move set is relatively easy to jump into but interesting enough to master, making her an extremely great addition to the roster. Another character which just came out September 14th, Brawler, displays a massive flourish of style and aggression. From gameplay videos, it is easy to see him smashing enemies with some serious chaos and confidence. There is no exact timeline yet for the other characters, but they should all be coming between now and the end of next year.

Another reason to jump back into DNF Duel is its Cube Selection System. After each player chooses their character, they get to choose one of two cubes. These cubes affect a variety of aspects of the battle and characters. These cubes are also unique to each character, allowing each player to choose a more unique style that better fits their personal preferences. While the system isn’t incredibly deep or original, it is a fresh way to approach the game, and adds that extra layer of depth DNF Duel needed.

More is on the horizon for this game in the coming months. It's a lot of fun, looks gorgeous, and honestly easier to get into than things like Guilty Gear: Strive or Street Fighter VI while still keeping some great depths of strategy and skill.
