Comedy Central Is Bringing TOSH.0 to an End After Season 12
Comedy Central recently canceled Drunk History, and now it’s been announced that they are bringing Tosh.0 to an end after its 12th season. Again, the reason is that the network is shifting from live-action to adult-themed animated shows.
The show’s creator and host Daniel Tosh is planning to shop the series around to other networks and digital platforms. The show delivers some funny comedy, and it’s fairly cheap to make, so I don’t think Tosh will have a problem finding a new home for it.
Tosh joked about the cancelation, saying, “I look forward to doing an animated reboot of my show on MTV in 25 years.” As you know, the network is currently rebooting Beavis and Butt-Head and The Ren & Stimpy Show.
The 12th season of Tosh.0 premieres on September 15 and it will reach 300 episodes, having run for 11 years. The final season will feature ten episodes with its finale on November 24th.
