Comic BETTER ANGELS Tells Story of America's First Woman Detective

Boom! Studios has given us a new look at their comic Better Angels, available October 27, 2021 at local comic shops, and November 2 at bookstores or the Boom! Studios store.

Digital copies will be available through comiXology, iBooks, Google Play, and Kindle. Better Angels will follow the true story of Kate Warne as she thwarts a plot by confederate radicals to kill Abraham Lincoln on his way to take office.

Written by Jeff Jensen (HBO’s Watchmen, Green River Killer: A True Detective Story) and art by George Schall (Made In Korea), Better Angels sounds like it should be not only interesting but informative as I had never heard of Kate Warne before this. I

’m not wild about the art style from what we can see, but the story sounds interesting enough for me to check it out when it releases.
