Comic-Con Trailer for Chadwick Boseman's Cop Thriller 21 BRIDGES
We’ve got another great and intense trailer for you to watch for the Russo Brothers’ upcoming cop thriller 21 Bridges. This is the same trailer that premiered at Comic-Con today.
Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther) stars in the film as a New York City police officer who is hunting down a pair of cop killers, and to catch them, he makes sure to lock down Manhattan by shutting every bridge that connects to the city. The new trailer also offers up some interesting new story details regarding the conspiracy behind the events that are happening.
The movie also stars J.K. Simmons (Counterpart), Sienna Miller (American Sniper), Taylor Kitsch (Waco), Morocco Omari (Empire), Keith David (Night School), and Stephan James (If Beale Street Could Talk). Here’s the full synopsis:
21 BRIDGES follows an embattled NYPD detective (Chadwick Boseman), who is thrust into a citywide manhunt for a pair of cop killers after uncovering a massive and unexpected conspiracy. As the night unfolds, lines become blurred on who he is pursuing, and who is in pursuit of him. When the search intensifies, extreme measures are taken to prevent the killers from escaping Manhattan as the authorities close all 21 BRIDGES to prevent any entry or exit from the iconic island.
When previously talking about the film, Joe Russo said:
“It’s intense. The action is fantastic. It’s the kind of movie that they’re, I feel like they’re not really making a lot of anymore. It’s a real throw back to a 70’s thriller. It’s, it feels like a Lumet movie.”
21 Bridges opens in theaters on July 12th, 2019. Watch the trailer and let us know if it looks like a movie you’ll be checking out.
