Simon West, the director behind Con Air and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, is set to direct a new four-part miniseries for Amazon titled Boundless.

The film is set in the 16th century and it follows the two Spanish explorers, Juan Sebastián Elcano and Ferdinand Magellan, who set out on an epic voyage around the world to disprove the theory that the world is flat.

Flat-Earthers are going to hate this movie! I can’t believe that there are people in the world who still believe the world is flat. If that’s your thing… fine, there’s one person I know that believes the Earth is flat, and I just don’t get it. With all the proof we have that the world is a sphere, how can people still believe the world is flat?

Regardless, the journey that these two men embarked on over 500 years ago when they set sail from Spain is sure to make for a great miniseries! It’s also great to see Simon West taking on the project!
