Concept Art for Marvel's DAREDEVIL TV Series
Marvel has released an awesome piece of concept art from their upcoming Daredevil series in the form of a teaser poster. The stylish illustration was created by artist (and Chief Creative Officer of Marvel) Joe Quesada, and features the title character ready to pounce on some thugs. It's a very different look for the character, but this is going to start off as an origin story. I assumed we wouldn't see him in his classic costume for awhile.
Daredevil will be the first of four Marvel series to be released on Netflix. Today there is a panel for the show taking place at New York Comic Con, where they are sure to reveal more.
The series will follow the journey of Matt Murdock, "who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell's Kitchen, New York City." It stars Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), and Vincent D'Onofrio (Wilson Fisk).
