Concept Artist For BIRDS OF PREY Reveals First Full Look at Harley Quinn
While fans eagerly await the first full trailer for director Cathy Yan’s Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), we have a picture of the concept art shared by the concept artist for the film, Greg Hopwood, of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn in all her glory. Robbie is joined in the film by Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ali Wong, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Rosie Perez, Ewan McGregor, and Chris Messina.
Robbie has described the film as a girl gang movie, that allows Harley to be around her friends, as she is a people person who thrives off of having people around her. Winstead has said the film has a 90’s feel to it, in the best way. The cast is great, and it sounds like there will be some awesome action in the movie. Here’s the official synopsis:
After splitting with the Joker, Harley Quinn joins superheroes Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya to save a young girl from an evil crime lord.
