Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott Returning To AMERICAN HORROR STORY: APOCALYPSE
With American Horror Story: Apocalypse crossover with Murder House (Season 1) and Coven (Season 3), there's been speculation that we might see Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott return to the series.
According to The Wrap, those two actors are indeed joining the series and it's safe to assume that they will be back in the roles of Ben and Vivien Harmon from the first season. They would certainly be integral to the story. In case you forgot, Vivien gave birth to twins after being raped by Tate (Evan Peters) in Season 1. Tate’s mother, Constance (Jessica Lange), ended up adopting the surviving baby, which is the demonic anti-Christ Michael. He was last seen as a toddler, covered in blood and giggling after murdering his babysitter.
Michael will be back in Apocalypse and will be played by Cody Fern. Apocalypse also stars Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd and Adina Porter. Joan Collins has also been cast and will play the grandmother of Evan Peters’ character. Murphy also previously announced that Taissa Farmiga, who played Britton and McDermott’s daughter Violet Harmon on "Murder House" and Zoe in “Coven”, is coming back as well.
American Horror Story: Apocalypse will premiere on Wednesday, September 12th on FX.
