Cool Action-Packed Trailer For STARSHIP TROOPERS: TRAITOR OF MARS

"Relax! It's a good day to die!"

Another trailer has been released for the exciting CG animated sequel to Starship Troopers. The movie is called Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars and Casper Van Dien and Dina Meyer are reprising their roles of Johnny Rico and Dizzy Flores. We've already seen a teaser for the movie, but today we have a full trailer for you to watch and even though it looks like a video game cinematic cut scene, it still looks like a good movie that Starship Trooper fans will enjoy.

The film was written by Ed Neumeier, who is the same guy that wrote the original Paul Verhoeven-directed film as well as Robocop. Here's the story that the film will follow:

The movie sees Rico demoted and relocated to a satellite station on Mars, while the Federation moves to attack the home planet of the bugs — but Mars just so happens to be the target of a secret bug attack at the same time, and it falls to Rico and a group of new recruits to keep the planet safe while the Federation's fleet is far out of reach.

The trailer came with the following:

C’mon You Apes, You Wanna Live Forever?! I have only one rule. Everybody fights, no one quits. The bugs have breached Mars and the Federation’s Fleet is too far to help. It’s up to us to save the planet. On the bounce, Troopers! The only Good Bug is a Dead Bug! Oorah!

Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions and Fathom Events are partnering for the one-night-only theatrical debut. Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars theater screenings will take place in nearly 500 select theaters across the country on Monday, August 21st. There will be two screenings at 7:30pm and 10pm. It will eventually be released on Blu-ray.

C'mon you apes, you wanna live forever?! Casper Van Dien and Dina Meyer return as the voices of Johnny Rico and Dizzy Flores in this new animated movie based on the classic film. Coming to theaters one-night-only on August 21, available on Digital August 22, and out on 4K Ultra HD/Blu-ray Combo Pack, Blu-ray and DVD September 19.
