Cool Alternate Designs for Star-Lord and Nova Corps in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY

Marvel concept artist Andy Park has released a few new pieces of concept art that he created for James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy. They feature some radically cool early character designs for Star-Lord and the Nova Corps. The designs are very different from what Gunn and Marvel ended up using. I like really the look of the pirate scavenger Star-Lord design and the Nova Corps design kinda reminds me of the Cylons from Battlestar Galactica. 

You can see the art below, which also includes a few little notes from the artist. Take a look at the designs and tell us what you think of them. I personally love the designs that ended up being used in the film, but these are still pretty rad.

This was an early design I concept illustrated for the Nova Corp in the 1st #GuardiansoftheGalaxy movie. It was an amazing time trying to come up with the look & feel of this totally new franchise in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Up until this point it was all Avengers related films. This was our chance to do something different.
