Cool Behind-The-Scenes Look at Skywalker Sound's Foley Artist

I'm not just listing some of cinephiles' favorite films here — these are only a handful of the movies worked on by John Roesch, one of the foley artists at Skywalker Sound. With nearly 500 credits to his name, there may be no single other person in Hollywood who has been involved with the staggering number of your favorite movies.

In a new video from Wired, Roesch walks us through his sound stage at Skywalker Sound, shows off props that were used in movies like Back to the Future, and gives a brief glimpse into the work that goes into the work of a foley artist, one of Hollywood's most unsung jobs:
