In the age of CGI, it's not often guys like these see a ton of work. That's a shame because some of the things Tom Woodruff and Alec Gillis create are a sight to behold. These guys built Alien, some of the animals in Jumanji, and the worms from Tremors! The Great Big Story did an awesome but short interview with the two that makes me wish we had more animatronic effects in modern cinema. Check it out:
