Cool 'Movie Poster Remakes Vs Originals, Explained' Video

Today we have a really cool Youtube video for you from Vanity Fair that features movie poster artist and Creative Director at Indika Entertainment James Verdesoto, who brought us iconic movie posters such as Pulp Fiction, Girl, Interrupted, and Training Day talking about the posters of famous movie remakes like A Star is Born, Godzilla, Ocean’s 11, and many more.

He talks graphic design, aesthetic, font, style and art. It’s especially interesting to see the evolution of the posters for A Star is Born because there have been four iterations of the film, and subsequently the poster, that came out in 1937, 1954, 1976, and 2018, respectively. So he highlights the changes made over the decades to the art that represents the same story.
