Cool New Behind-The-Scenes Video For STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI Focuses on Director Rian Johnson
USA Today has released a fantastic new behind-the-scenes video for Star Wars: The Last Jedi that focuses on director Rian Johnson. Apparently, he is doing some incredible things with this next chapter in the saga and taking the characters to some exciting new places. I love that Johnson is directing this movie and I hope that J.J. Abrams is inspired by his work and carries over what he started into Episode IX. When talking about what it was like for Johnson to work on the film, he says:
“It’s hard to go too long on set without having something remind you you’re standing in the middle of your Kenner toys you grew up with, the spaceships and everything. There’s something every hour on the hour that makes you zoom back and think, ‘I’m the luckiest person on the planet right now to be doing this.’”
When Carrie Fisher talks about Johnson in the video, she says:
“He has flaws in other areas. I just don’t know about them.”
The video features interview with other actors like Mark Hamill and Daisy Ridley. It also teases some insanely cool footage from the set and teases a few things including some of the set pieces and aliens. The video is a lot of fun to watch and it just gets me more excited to see the movie!
