Cool New Featurette For ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA Teases Janet Van Dyne's History in the Quantum Realm
A cool new featurette has been released from Marvel’s upcoming Phase 5 kickoff film, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The video features star of the film Michelle Pfeiffer, who plays Janet Van Dyne in the franchise. She talks about the fact that ever since her return from the Quantum Realm, she has been guarded about her experience, but the featurette teases that we may see a lot more of her past in this story.
We also get to hear from Paul Rudd, who plays Scott Lang, aka Ant-Man, and he talks about how much he loves the character, and he’s protective of him after all these years. Some fans have downplayed the role of Ant-Man in the overall Marvel storyline, but MCU boss Kevin Feige reiterates a point I’ve been screaming about ever since Avengers: Endgame. It was because of Scott Lang’s idea that the Avengers were able to travel back in time to alter certain events and retrieve the stones to defeat Thanos. He never gets the credit he deserves, and I love that he’s getting it in this movie. Feige calls Scott Lang the key to saving the universe, and said he found it fitting in that spirit to use him to kick off phase 5.
I cannot wait for this movie. I love Ant-Man so much, and I really just hope this is as good as I believe it will be, and that Scott Lang doesn’t die. Fingers crossed for Ant-Man.
This film hits theaters on February 17th, and tickets are on sale now. Check out the featurette below and let us know what you think.
