Cool New GHOST IN THE SHELL Footage Included in "Mamoru Oshii" Featurette

A new featurette has been released for Scarlett Johansson's live-action film adaptation of Ghost in the Shell. The featurette focuses on the director of the original anime films, Mamoru Oshii, as he visits the set of the film to check out how things are coming along. He seems to be really happy and excited about what they are doing. The featurette also includes some pretty awesome new footage from the set that you've gotta check out!

Ghost in the Shell follows the Major, special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic’s advancements in cyber technology.

The film is being directed by Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman), and it also stars Beat Takeshi Kitano as Daisuke Aramaki, Juliette Binoche as Dr. Ouelet, Michael Pitt as Kuze, Pilou Asbæk as Batou, and Kaori Momoi. The members of Section 9 are played by Chin Han, Danusia Samal, Lasarus Ratuere, Yutaka Izumihara, and Tuwanda Manyimo.
