Cool New Photos From BUMBLEBEE Spotlight the G1 Transformers Designs From the Battle of Cybertron
Seeing the Generation One Transformers designs in Bumblebee was one of the many highlights of the movie! Why Micheal Bay didn’t use these designs in the first place is beyond me.
Bumblebee opens up with easily one of the best and coolest action sequences in the franchise... The Battle of Cybertron. In this scene we watched the Autobots and Decepticons engage in an epic battle with each other.
Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we have some new photos to share with you from this scene that highlight the G1 designs for the Transformers.
The characters included here are Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Soundwave, Brawn, Arcee, Cliffjumper, Wheeljack, Shockwave, and Starscream.
When talking about his time working on the film, director Travis Knight said:
“It was complete wish-fulfillment for me. The whole film was a joy to make and there were obviously a lot of pressures and whatnot, but as I look back it really was a creative and rewarding experience. The moment of high-spirited joy, the most giddy I ever was, was when we were doing the Cybertron sequence. It was just such complete fun.”
Bumblebee is hands down the best Transformers film that has been made, and if you haven’t seen it yet, get out there a watch it! I promise it will not disappoint.
