The latest photo from Guardians of the Galaxy features Karen Gillan as Nebula. She is a very interesting, ruthless and badass character in the Marvel universe. In the film she is Ronan the Accuser's right-hand woman, and she also works for Thanos. Gillan is one of my favorite actresses working today, and she looks amazing in this role.
When talking about the character she describes her as being "unapologetically so mean," and says "she gets such an enjoyment from what she does, and what she does is so bad. She completely has a reason for being a sadist, but that may not be apparent to everybody else."
The actress is a rising star in the feature film world, and I hope this is just the start of an amazing film career for her. The movie hits theaters on August 1st, and I can't wait to see her in action!
