Here’s a cool collectors poster inspired by Tim Burton’s 1996 Sci-Fi comedy Mars Attacks! which is such a fun and wild movie! I think this is one of Burton’s most underrated films.
The poster art is a private commission created by artist Aurelio Lorenzo.
Mars Attacks! is based on the cult 1960s trading cards of the same name. The film follows the chaotic events that unfold when grotesque, big-brained Martians arrive on Earth, initially presenting themselves as peaceful visitors before launching a violent and absurdly destructive invasion.
As world leaders, including the U.S. President (Jack Nicholson), struggle to respond, the Martians gleefully wreak havoc using their advanced weapons and twisted sense of humor.
The ensemble cast includes Annette Bening, Pierce Brosnan, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jack Nicholson, and Danny DeVito, who portray a variety of eccentric characters caught in the mayhem.
