Cool Poster Art For Stephen King's IT From the Upcoming Gallery1988 IT Art Show
I've got a couple of pieces of poster art to share with you today for the upcoming film adaption of Stephen King's It. The two art pieces are part of an upcoming It art show coming up at Gallery1988.
The first piece of art comes from Doaly and it features the Losers Club in the sewers of Derry. I also like the folding lines in the poster like it was folded up into Georgie's boat. The second piece was created by Laz Marquez and it shows Pennywise the Clown holding a bunch of red floating balloons.
The show runs from August 31st through September 3rd in Los Angeles. I'm just excited about seeing this movie! It looks like it's going to scare the hell out of audiences!
The film is based on the novel by Stephen King, whose story recalls a promise made twenty-eight years ago that forces seven adults to reunite in Derry, Maine, where as teenagers they battled an evil creature that preyed on the city’s children. Unsure that their Losers Club had vanquished the creature all those years ago, the seven had vowed to return to Derry if IT should ever reappear. Now, children are being murdered again and their repressed memories of that summer return as they prepare to do battle with the monster lurking in Derry’s sewers once more.
The movie stars Jaeden Lieberher (Midnight Special) as Bill Denbrough, Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things) as Richie Tozier, newcomer Sophia Lillis as Beverly Marsh, Jack Dylan Grazer (Tales of Halloween) as Stan Uris, Wyatt Oleff (Guardians of the Galaxy) as Eddie Kaspbrak, Chosen Jacobs (Hawaii Five-0) as Mike Hanlon, Jeremy Ray Taylor (42) as Ben Hanscom, and Bill Skarsgård as Pennywise.
The first of two films is set to be released on September 8th, 2017.
