Cool Poster Art For SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE Created By Artist Adam Stothard
If you’re a fan of Richard Donner’s Superman: The Movie, here’s a great print that you might consider picking up. The poster art was created by artist Adam Stothard for Hero Complex Gallery, and it’s titled “You’ll Believe a Man Can Fly.”
The 1978 Superman movie is a groundbreaking superhero film that tells the origin story of the iconic DC Comics character, and it stars Christopher Reeve in his defining role.
The film begins on the doomed planet Krypton, where baby Kal-El is sent to Earth by his father, Jor-El. Raised as Clark Kent in Smallville, Kansas, he discovers his superhuman abilities and eventually embraces his destiny as Superman, protector of humanity.
Moving to Metropolis, he works as a mild-mannered reporter at the Daily Planet while secretly battling villains, including the cunning Lex Luthor, who threatens the world with a nuclear scheme.
With a perfect blend of heart, adventure, and a now-iconic score by John Williams, the film helped establish the superhero genre as a serious and emotionally resonant form of cinematic storytelling.
