Cool STAR WARS JEDI: SURVIVOR Gameplay Footage Takes Cal Kestis to a New Planet
Nine-minutes of gameplay footage has been shared for Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and it features Cal and his droid companion, BD-1, crash-landing on a new planet after “a secret mission he’s involved with goes awry.” This is a new planet in the Star Wars universe called Koboh.
In the footage, we see Cal embark on a journey to find some parts for his ship so that he can repair it. As you might expect, danger lurks at every turn. From run-of-the-mill Battle Droids to hulking extraterrestrial beasts, Cal's gotta use his wits and some sweet Jedi moves to make it out alive."
The video also shows off the slick new traversal and combat mechanics in the game. Players will be Force jumping, scaling walls, and using a grappling hook. And when it's time to battle, players can wield a single-edged, double-edged, or twin-blade lightsaber like a pro! Even BD-1, the pint-sized robo sidekick, is getting in on the action with some sweet upgrades. Remember that classic binocular-inspired design? Well, now you can activate the BD Visor and spot enemies from miles away!"
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be released on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on April 28.
