Cool Storyboard Art For Marvel's HULK VS. WOLVERINE Animated Film
Back in 2009 when Marvel was developing great animated films, they released a two-part movie called Hulk Vs. One story focused on Hulk Vs. Thor and the other one focused on Hulk Vs. Wolverine. If you haven't seen this movie you should check it out because it's pretty awesome.
Anyway, some cool storyboard art has surfaced for the Hulk Vs. Wolverine aspect and it included a concept that ultimately wasn't used in the story. The art comes from director Frank Paur and it came with the following commentary:
"My original story about Hulk Vs Wolverine dealt with a retelling of the Windigo story from Wolverines First appearance In the Hulk comic. Whereas Hulk/Thor dealt with the mindless rampaging Hulk, Hulk/Wolverine would have dealt with the child-like Hulk. Hulk finds a little girl alone in a destroyed town. He rescues the girl and takes her with him, and soon finds that they are being stalked by a monster. Wolverine was supposed to be the villain in this piece, completely in control of Weapon X. We changed quite a bit of the original story for various reasons...(More cool bad guys to show off for one.) but I still like to think it would have made a grand story. Maybe I'll finish it off someday on my own."
