Cool Trailer for an Indie Sci-Film Movie Titled COLONIALS - "Fear the Future"
Epic Pictures Group released a trailer for an upcoming indie sci-fi film called Colonials, and for a low-budget indie film, it looks pretty good! In the story, a space colonist's (Greg Kriek) ship is attacked while on a mission to Mars by a Moon-based civilization.
He ends up crash-landing on Earth and loses his memory in the process. He finds himself joining forces with a Resistance on Earth to help them save the galaxy from human extinction.
The story is fun, it’s got a little bit of cheesiness, and the VFX work isn’t perfect, but there are some cool shots! It’s a pretty ambitious project, and I like the cool designs! The movie was co-directed by Joe Bland who said in a statement:
"Colonials is a large-scale sci-fi action feature film with a contagious adventure maneuvering through grand landscapes and epic digital sets. We have the most talented cast and crew you could ask for. Greg Kriek and his co-stars bring the characters to life and make you feel a part of the Colonial experience. Colonials was also co-directed by Andrew Balek, and it stars Sean Kanan, Daniel Roebuck, Jon Provost, and Allie Ayers Lindsey. The movie will be released direct-to-VOD in April 11th, 2023.
