Cool Trailer for Netflix's New GODZILLA SINGULAR POINT Anime Series
Netflix has a new Godzilla anime project in development with a series titled Godzilla Singular Point, and today we have the first trailer to share with you. The series is a hybrid of 3D and 2D-animated series from the animation studios Bones (My Hero Academia) and Orange (Beastars),
The story follows a young grad student and an engineer who are brought together by a mysterious song, and they end up leading the “fight against an unimaginable force that may spell doom for the world.” The young characters uncover a conspiracy that would unleash ancient kaiju on the world, including Godzilla.
This series actually looks really cool! While the stories for the live-action films have not been executed well, these anime projects have been better, and I’m actually looking forward to this new series. This could be the best one yet. I really like what I’m seeing.
Godzilla Singular Point is an all-new animated TV series that marks the beginning of a new project for Godzilla, one of Japan’s most iconic characters. This anime series unfolds over 13 episodes to tell a new and original story unlike anything seen in the Godzilla franchise before.
Godzilla: Singular Point is being directed by Atsushi Takahashi (Doraemon the Movie 2017: Great Adventure in the Antarctic Kachi Kochi). It’s already debuted its first episode on Netflix Japan, but it will launch in the U.S. in June.
