Cool Video of Benedict Cumberbatch Walking Into a Comic Shop as Doctor Strange While Shooting the Film

Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson recently shared an older never-before-released video from the set of the film back in 2016.

While shooting the film in Manhattan in front of the JHU Comic Book shop, Derrickson suggested to Benedict Cumberbatch that he go in and say hi. He’s completely decked out as Doctor Strange, and as you might imagine the patrons in the comic shop were stunned!

Cumberbatch was super nice to everyone and even took pictures with a couple of the guys who worked there. It’s kind of funny because while he’s in the shop talking to everyone he maintains the American accent he uses as Doctor Strange.

Anyway, it’s quite a fun and charming video that I’m sure some of you will enjoy and appreciate.
