Cool WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT Poster Art From Artist Thomas Hodge
Here’s a great piece of poster art for 1988 classic Robert Zemeckis-diorected film Who Framed Roger Rabbit. The art was created by artist Thomas Hodge, who did a great job capturing the spirit of the film in poster form.
This was a private commision created for Cult Classic Prints, and it’s a poster that I’d love to own if it was actually avilable to buy.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit is a groundbreaking blend of live-action and animation set in 1947 Hollywood, where cartoons (Toons) coexist with humans.
The story follows Private detective Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins), a bitter alcoholic with a grudge against Toons, is hired to investigate rumors that Roger Rabbit, a famous Toon star, is being cuckolded by his sultry wife, Jessica Rabbit.
When Roger is framed for the murder of Marvin Acme, the owner of Toontown, Eddie reluctantly takes the case and uncovers a sinister plot led by the nefarious Judge Doom (Christopher Lloyd).
As Eddie dives deeper, he learns that Doom plans to destroy Toontown to make way for a freeway. With Roger’s life on the line, Eddie must confront his past, outwit Doom, and clear Roger’s name.
