Marvel is Reportedly Planning an IRONHEART Series at Disney+

With the launch of Disney+ and all of the Marvel properties that it will hold, there is way more opportunity for fan favorite Marvel Comic characters to get their time to shine. Our friends at MCU Cosmic have an inside source at Marvel that says that Ironheart is on their slate of upcoming shows. Here is what they had to say:

According to a source who has not yet been wrong, a potential Disney+ limited series for Ironheart has begun early development. While a movie is possible, it sounds like she’ll be introduced via a limited series before appearing in the films; just like Ms. Marvel.

Ironheart is a strong storyline throughout the comics that will resonate well with not only the hardcore comic fans but will give newcomers a look at someone who can become a hero without super powers. It follows a supremely intelligent young woman, Riri Williams, who develops her own Iron-Man suit. In the comics, this catches the eye of Tony Stark who supports her efforts and helps her grow. In the current MCU, it will be interesting to see who takes her under their wing and helps her down the path of becoming a hero.

There have been rumors of Ironheart coming to the MCU for quite some time. For a little bit, there were rumors that Monica Rambeau from Captain Marvel would take on the mantle of Ironheart. I am going to be happy either way because this is a property that I feel will gain a big following on both the big and small screens. Let us know what you think.
