COWBOY BEBOP is Getting a Comic Series, a Prequel Novel, and an Art Book for the Live-Action Series
Cowboy Bebop is seeing new interest with the new live-action show coming to Netflix. The show looks awesome and recently, Titan Publishing announced a new collaboration with Netflix to bring new books and comics to the franchise.
First, a prequel novel called Cowboy Bebop: A Syndicate Story: Red Planet Requiem from Sean Cummings (a writer for the series) is set to release this November 23. Readers will get to “[e]xplore the rich history of Cowboy Bebop through the eyes of a young Spike Spiegel and Vicious.”
Then, on January 11, 2022, a coffee table art book called Cowboy Bebop: Making the Netflix Series from Jeff Bond will give fans a look at concept art and behind-the-scenes photos. The book will feature an exclusive foreward by showrunner André Nemec.
Finally, this December, fans will be able to enjoy the debut of a four-issue comic series aptly called Cowboy Bebop: The Comic Series. Dan Watters (Lucifer) is writing the series with art by Lamar Mathurin and a cover by Stanley ‘Argerm’ Lau. In May 2022, fans will be able to purchase a collected trade Paperback.
