COYOTE & CROW is an Upcoming Tabletop RPG from a Team of Native Americans
If you’re looking for a new tabletop RPG to try out, I would recommend checking out the Kickstarter for Coyote & Crow. This is an upcoming game from a team of Native Americans from across more than a dozen tribes and it uses a brand new game system. The game itself is set in the future of an alternate timeline where the Americas were never colonized by Westerners. The game system revolves around twelve-sided dice where you’ll accumulate a Dice Pool and then roll multiple dice to determine success or failure. In addition, combat is in Coyote & Crow, but it sounds like a lot of effort has been put into making it less central to the game than other RPGs. I am very interested in this. I love exploring new RPGs and this one sounds like a lot of fun.
Coyote and Crow is a tabletop role playing game set in an alternate future of the Americas where colonization never occurred. Instead, advanced civilizations arose over hundreds of years after a massive climate disaster changed the history of the planet. You'll play as adventurers starting out in the city of Cahokia, a bustling, diverse metropolis along the Mississippi River. It's a world of science and spirituality where the future of technology and legends of the past will collide.
You can find out all the nitty-gritty and even support Coyote & Crow over on the Kickstarter campaign. The campaign has just over 20 days left at the time of writing this and has crushed its funding goal.
